Steinway Musical Instruments Holdings Inc., makers of the iconic Steinway piano, is tuning up for another performance on the New York Stock Exchange.
The 169-year-old company, whose pianos are played in homes and on stages by the likes of Billy Joel, plans to go public, according to regulatory documents filed Thursday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
